Using Search Results
How to work with search results — recognize entities, save as notes, bookmark, analyze with AI, pin to a dashboard, and set up alerts.
Using Search Results
TheNews → Searchpage does more than return matching documents — it gives you a set of tools to act on what you find. You can save, analyze, share, and monitor content without ever leaving the page.
Entities in Results
As the search runs, the system automatically identifiesentitiesmentioned in each result — people, places, organizations, events, and other named concepts. Recognized entities appear as tags below the excerpt of each result card.
Clicking an entity tag refines your current search to surface other documents that mention the same entity, making it easy to trace a topic or subject across multiple sources.
Saving a Result as a Note
To keep a result for your own personal reference, click→ Noteon the result card. The article is saved as a document note and is visible only to you.
Notes can be reviewed, edited, and later sent to AI analysis orDeep Search. SeeAbout NotesandHandling Notesfor full details.
Bookmarking a Result
To share a result with your entire organization, click theBookmarkbutton on the result card. You will be prompted to choose an existing bookmark collection or create a new one on the spot.
Bookmarks are visible to all members of your organization and can also be sent to AI analysis later. SeeAbout BookmarksandHandling Bookmarksfor full details.
Analyzing Results with AI
Each result card has anAnalyzebutton that opens an AI analysis dialog for that document. From there you can:
- Request asummaryof the article.
- Ask questionsabout its content.
- Apply ananalysis templatefor consistent, structured insights.
For a full explanation of analysis options and how to read the results, seeAnalysis OptionsandAnalysis Results.

Analysis results are generated using the AI vendors configured for your organization and may consume credits. SeeCreditsfor details.
Pinning a Search to a Dashboard
You can add the current search — together with its filters — as a tile on any dashboard. This lets you monitor the results at a glance without returning to the Search page every time.
- Run a search.
- ClickPinin the toolbar above the results.
- Choose an existing dashboard or create a new one.
- ClickSave.
The pinned tile refreshes automatically and always shows the latest matching results. SeeDashboard Tilesfor more information about dashboard tiles.

- Run the search you want to monitor.
- ClickAlertin the toolbar above the results.

The system will run your search on the chosen schedule and notify you of any new results. SeeAbout AlertsandTypes of Monitoringsfor more details on how alerts work.
