Handling Bookmarks
How to create bookmark collections, add and edit bookmarks, rename or delete collections and bookmarks, and how to restore deleted items.
Handling Bookmarks
TheBookmarkspage shows all bookmark collections in your organization. Open a collection to see the bookmarks inside it.
Creating a Bookmark Collection
- Go toNews → Bookmarks.
- Click+ Add collection.
- Enter a name for the collection and clickSave.
The new collection appears in the list immediately and is available to all members of your organization.
Adding a Bookmark to a Collection
You can add bookmarks in several ways:
From the Search module
When you find a relevant article in theNews → Searchpage, use theSave(bookmark) button on the result card. SeeUsing Search Resultsfor a full guide to working with search results. A dialog will appear where you can:
- Choose an existing collection to save into, or
- Type a name to create a new collection on the spot.
ClickSaveto add the bookmark.
From Notes
You can promote a note to a bookmark directly from theNotespage. Click the bookmark icon on a note card, then choose a collection (or create a new one) and clickSave.

Manually within a Collection
- Open a collection fromNews → Bookmarks.
- Click+ Add bookmark.
- Enter theURLof the page you want to save. The title and excerpt will be filled in automatically when you move to the next field.
- Adjust theTitleandTextif needed.
- ClickSave.
Editing a Bookmark
- Open the collection that contains the bookmark.
- Click theEdit(pencil) button on the bookmark card.
- Update the title, URL, or text as needed.
- ClickSave.
Renaming a Bookmark Collection
- Go toNews → Bookmarks.
- Find the collection and clickRename.
- Enter the new name and clickSave.
You can also rename the collection from inside it: open the collection and clickRenamein the toolbar at the top.
Deleting a Bookmark
- Open the collection that contains the bookmark.
- Click theDeletebutton on the bookmark card.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
Deletion is asoft delete— the bookmark is marked as deleted but not immediately removed. You can restore it by opening the collection's deleted items view and clickingRestorenext to the bookmark.
To deletemultiple bookmarksat once:
- Select the bookmarks you want to remove using theSelectbutton on each card (or useSelect allin the toolbar).
- ClickDelete (N)in the selection toolbar.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
Deleting a Bookmark Collection
- Go toNews → Bookmarks, or open the collection you want to delete.
- ClickDeletenext to the collection name.
- Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
Like individual bookmarks, deleting a collection is asoft delete. The collection and all its bookmarks are preserved in a deleted state and can be restored if needed.
Restoring Deleted Items
If you accidentally delete a bookmark or collection, you can undo it:
- Go toNews → Bookmarks.
- Look for theDeletedsection or link to view soft-deleted collections.
- Find the item you want to recover and clickRestore.
The restored collection or bookmark will reappear in the active list and be available to all organization members again.
