Analyzing Bookmarks
Bookmarks are not just for storing articles — you can send them to AI analysis to generate summaries, ask questions about the content, and surface insights across multiple documents at once.
Open a collection fromNews → Bookmarksto get started.
Analyzing a Single Bookmark
To analyze one bookmark:
- Open the collection that contains the bookmark.
- Click theAnalyze(wand) button on the bookmark card.
- The analysis dialog opens with that document preloaded.
- Ask questions, request a summary, or choose an analysis template.
Analyzing Multiple Bookmarks
You can select several bookmarks and analyze them together in a single session. This is especially useful when you want a cross-document summary or want to compare findings across several articles.
- Open the collection.
- ClickSelecton each bookmark you want to include. Selected bookmarks are highlighted.
- To include every bookmark in the collection, clickSelect allin the selection toolbar.
- Once you have selected at least two bookmarks, anAnalyze (N)button appears in the selection toolbar, whereNis the number of selected items.
- ClickAnalyze (N).
- The analysis dialog opens with all selected documents preloaded.
- Ask questions or request a summary that covers all the selected content.
After the analysis is complete, clickClear selectionin the toolbar to deselect all items.
Tips
- Combine bookmarks from the same topic into one collection before analyzing to get the most coherent cross-document insights.
- Use analysis templates available in the dialog to apply consistent prompts across different collections. SeeAnalysis Templatesfor details on saving and reusing templates.
